We are seeking a results-driven IT Manager in Frankfurt to lead local and cross-regional teams, build secure, resilient, and scalable IT, and support our growth across Europe.
What You'll Do
* IT Strategy & Roadmap
: Define and execute the local and regional IT roadmap (network, endpoints, cloud, data, security) aligned with business goals.
* Infrastructure & Operations
: Own office and data center/public cloud environments (e.g., Azure/AWS), including deployment, capacity, uptime, and SRE metrics (SLA/SLI/SLO).
* Security & Compliance
: Lead security programs (IAM, endpoint security, backup/DR, vulnerability/patching, logging/audit) and support GDPR, ISO 27001, and SOC 2 practices.
* Enterprise Applications
: Manage core apps (Microsoft 365, ERP/CRM, SSO, MDM) selection, integration, and lifecycle to improve Digital Employee Experience.
* Service Management
: Establish ITIL processes (incident, problem, change, asset), drive automation and standardization, and improve service desk KPIs and CSAT.
* Vendors & Cost
: Manage MSPs and suppliers, contracts, and budget to optimize TCO.
* Project Delivery
: Lead cross-functional projects (office moves, network upgrades, zero trust, SASE/SD‑WAN, data protection) and deliver on time and quality.
* Team Leadership
: Coach local engineers and partners; build capability matrices and on-call/incident response routines.
What We're Looking For
* Background
: Bachelor's degree in CS or related field; 5–8+ years in enterprise IT with 2–3 years of team or project leadership.
* Technical breadth
(most of the following):
* Networking & security: LAN/WAN, SD‑WAN, VPN, Wi‑Fi, zero trust, EDR, SIEM/SOAR.
* Cloud & identity: Azure/AWS, Azure AD/Entra ID, SSO/MFA/SCIM, Intune/MDM.
* Systems & endpoints: Windows/macOS/Linux, SCCM/Intune, imaging/patching, asset lifecycle.
* Data protection: 3‑2‑1 backups, DR/BCP, least privilege, encryption and key management.
* Enterprise apps: Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, ERP/CRM (SAP/Oracle/Dynamics a plus).
* Automation: PowerShell, Python, Terraform/Ansible (any hands-on experience).
* Methods & compliance
: Familiar with ITIL and GDPR; ISO 27001/SOC 2 implementation is a plus.
* Soft skills
: Strong stakeholder communication, outcome orientation, and change delivery in fast-paced environments.
* Languages
: Fluency in German or English (at least one). Bilingual is a plus.
* Nice to have
: Experience in multinational or fast-growing, multi-site environments.
