What to expect:
1. Development and implementation of requirements and change management for battery management systems (BMS)
2. Definition of functional architecture
3. Creation of functional descriptions and interfaces for electric powertrain systems/components
4. Concept development for specifications at the system/subsystem level (including powertrain/battery/motor)
5. Development, evaluation, and mapping of model-based (vehicle platform) requirements
6. Modeling and simulation of electric powertrain systems
7. Organization of coordination meetings
8. Tracking requirements and change requests
9. Implementation of an agile work structure, e.g., Scrum
10. Evaluation & analysis of use cases at the system/vehicle level
11. Ensuring compliance with system requirements, components, and test coverage
12. Development of new system technologies as research projects
13. Adjustment of electrical component requirements to the system for efficiency enhancement
14. Monitoring and coordination of suppliers
What you bring along:
15. Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, or similar
16. At least 3 years of battery management systems (BMS) experience in industry or university projects
17. Solid practical experience in requirements, change, and release management with Codebeamer (or IBM DOORS)
18. Good MATLAB/ Simulink skills
19. Practice in model-based software development
20. Practical knowledge of Jira, Confluence, or similar
21. Know-how with agile working methods (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)
22. Understanding of vehicle electronics and software architecture
23. Knowledge of Modelica, Dymola, Simscape, C++, CANoe, CANalyzer - nice to have
24. Fluent English skills
25. German is a plus
