TELUS Digital are currently looking for an experienced HR Administrator to join our existing on site team in Essen
Overview of tasks:
* Handle the full spectrum of administrative and backend tasks associated with the human resources function
* Deal with team member requests and queries both in person and through the company’s ticketing system
* Support compliance with German workplace regulations and labor laws
* Facilitate and coordinate the Betriebliches Eingliederungsmanagement (BEM) process, supporting the reintegration of employees after long-term illness or absence
* Maintain and update employee records and HR documents
* Maintain confidentiality of sensitive personnel information
* Process HR paperwork and ensure compliance with HR policies and regulations
* Support the onboarding and offboarding processes for employees
* Partner with cross-functional teams internally to coordinate administrative HR activities
* Identify potential risks or issues with HR processes and proactively communicate with stakeholders
* Translate business requirements into HR administrative plans
* Present reports on HR administrative tasks to stakeholders, highlighting any issues and solutions
* Implement and manage changes in HR administrative processes to meet organizational needs
* Participate in HR lead projects and initiatives as required
We are looking for:
* Prior Professional work experience in the field of Human Resources
* Knowledge of German labor law (Arbeitsrecht) and of Betriebliches Eingliederungsmanagement (BEM) process administration is desirable
* Familiarity with GDPR compliance requirements
* HR Certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP)
* Ability to function productively and proactively in a fast-moving environment is essential
* Ability to deal effectively with ambiguity while ensuring challenging delivery timelines are met
* Excellent written and spoken German and English skills - C1 is needed
* Experience with HRIS systems is desirable
* Proficiency with Google Workplace applications
* Goal-oriented, structured, and sustainable way of working
* Careful listener with keen perception to detail is essential
