Construction Manager Needed | Decommissioning | Germany | Permanent
I am currently supporting my client a specialist nuclear services and decommissioning business, who are expanding their project delivery capability in Germany. They’re looking to appoint an experienced Construction Manager to support complex decommissioning work across a major nuclear site.
Position: Construction Manager – Nuclear Decommissioning
Location: Germany (on‑site)
Type: Permanent
Key Responsibilities:
* Leading site‑based construction delivery across dismantling, decommissioning, and waste‑handling activities.
* Managing subcontractors, work packs, RAMS, permit-to-work and daily coordination.
* Ensuring construction operations comply with nuclear safety, radiological protection, ALARP and site licence conditions.
* Reporting progress, risks, and constraints to the Project Manager and wider delivery team.
* Driving safe systems of work, quality standards, and schedule performance.
Ideal experience:
* Strong background as a Construction Manager / Site Manager on complex industrial, energy, or nuclear projects.
* Experience with decommissioning, dismantling, demolition, or radiologically controlled environments.
* Knowledge of CDM / site safety standards, RAMS, and contractor oversight.
* Ability to work within a multinational project team (English-speaking environment; German language is beneficial but not essential, depending on the assignment).
