Your mission
Join us in developing and operating our First-of-a-Kind (tFOAK) facility. As a Process Engineer for Separation Systems, you’ll design, test, and optimize key process units that define how efficiently our system captures CO₂.
You’ll work at the intersection of experimental development, process modeling, and system design, collaborating closely with internal simulation team and external partners. Expect a hands-on environment with fast feedback loops, where your work directly shapes the next generation of DAC plants.
Key points
* Design and optimize separation processes, focusing on gas–liquid behavior, flow dynamics, and water management using tools like AspenPlus and KGTower.
* Collaborate with internal and external simulation partners to define model requirements, validate CFD and process models with empirical data, and translate findings into practical engineering improvements.
* Design and operate experimental test systems to generate data, validate assumptions, and accelerate understanding of key separation and flow phenomena.
* Drive process engineering and documentation, including PFDs, P&IDs, valve and pipe sizing, safety reviews, and compliance with regulatory standards.
* Capture and share learnings through structured documentation and continuous benchmarking of emerging research and industrial best practices.
