Job Title: Financial Risk Oversight Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement monitoring methods to identify and mitigate risks.
* Perform intraday risk assessments for listed derivatives clearing clients, Lombard/margin account clients, and their corresponding cross-asset limits.
* Identify opportunities for process improvements and suggest data-driven risk-reducing measures.
* Issue timely margin calls when thresholds are breached.
* Conduct thorough risk calculations for portfolios of listed derivatives clearing clients.
* Document operational risk incidents and communicate promptly with relevant stakeholders.
* Oversee exercise and assignment processes, managing associated risks effectively.
* Maintain regular communication with the Second Line of Defense and central Risk function.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Apostgraduate degree in finance or a related field.
* Background in mathematics or financial mathematics preferred.
* At least 3–5 years of professional experience in risk management.
* Proficiency in R and Python programming languages for analytical work.
* Proven experience in client monitoring and risk management.
* Strong skills in risk modelling to assess complex financial exposures.
* Solid understanding and hands-on experience with derivatives and margin accounts essential.
* Additional knowledge of equities, fixed income, other listed products, and crypto assets beneficial.
* Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.
* Fluency in both English and German required for effective communication.
