Roles & Responsibilities
* Provide L3 support for production and non-production systems
* Troubleshoot complex application and system issues in Unix/Linux environments
* Develop, maintain, and enhance shell scripts for automation and operational efficiency
* Support batch processing and job execution in enterprise environments
* Analyze logs, diagnose issues, and implement permanent fixes
* Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to resolve incidents and improve system stability
* Ensure adherence to operational processes and documentation standards
* Mentor junior support team members when acting in a lead capacity
Technical Skills Required
* 5+ years of hands-on experience with Unix/Linux operating systems
* Extensive expertise in shell scripting using ksh and bash
* Working knowledge of Cobol and legacy application environments
* Experience with SSL concepts and secure communications
* Proficiency with AWK, Sed, and scripting utilities
* Working knowledge of Python and Perl
* Strong Linux system administration skills
