To strengthen our HR Services organization in Germany, we are looking for a Team Lead General HR Services.
Your role
As Team Lead General HR Services you lead a growing HR Services team that supports our German employees. You manage 7 HR professionals, located across two sites in Germany and one site in Lithuania, with plans to grow the team further.
Your team takes care of the full employee lifecycle: preparing job contracts, handling changes, terminations, certificatesand answering HR questions. You bring clarity, structure and consistency, while also looking ahead: how can we do this smarter, faster and better?
This role is a mix of people leadership, expertise in the field and HR transformation. You don’t just keep things running, you improve how we work.
What you will be doing
* Lead, coach and develop a diverse HR Services team (junior to senior levels)
* Ensure smooth employee lifecycle administration from hire to exit:
* Oversee and support HR Services and other HR related activities
* Make sure HR services are delivered on time, accurately and according to SLAs
* Drive process improvements and challenge existing ways of working
* Harmonise HR processes across Germany
* Lead and contribute to HR transformation and optimisation projects
* Work on projects such as labour cost topics and automating recurring tasks
* Increase flexibility through cross-training within the team
* Collaborate closely with PeopleData & Technology and other HR Team Leads
* Ensure compliance with German labour law, GDPR and data privacy standards
What we are looking for
* Experience as a Team Lead or Manager in HR Services or HR Shared Services
* Strong knowledge of German payroll and labour law (will be many touchpoints with Payroll)
* Experience with SAP and HR systems (strongly preferred)
* A leader who enjoys improving processes and managing change
* Comfortable working in an international and fast-moving environment
* Clear communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
* Fluent in German and English
* Hybrid work model: 50% office presence with flexible remote options.
* Travel expectations: Occasional domestic/international trips required to support team, operations and process development.
