With innovative solutions, our global IT team, Endress+Hauser InfoServe ensures that our corporate group can rely on smooth, secure IT operations. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a System Engineer SAP Services to take on a key role in maintaining and further developing our SAP system landscape.
This position can be based either in Freiburg or Weil am Rhein.
Specifically, you can expect the following tasks:
1. You ensure the smooth operation and continuous development of the SAP Basis system landscape
2. You design, implement, and optimize archiving strategies and solutions in SAP systems
3. You analyze data archiving requirements and ensure compliance with legal and organizational standards (e.g. GDPR)
4. You carry out upgrades, patches, and system migrations within the SAP Basis infrastructure
5. You support the planning and implementation of cloud-based and hybrid SAP solutions, including system monitoring and performance optimization
6. You collaborate closely with internal departments and external partners, while also create and maintain technical documentation
7. You contribute to the SAP RISE program by supporting the Basis team with your expertise
Your qualifications:
8. You have successfully completed training in IT, a degree in computer science, or hold a comparable qualification
9. You have solid knowledge in SAP system administration
10. You have several years of experience in data archiving and familiarity with SAP archiving tools such as SAP ArchiveLink or SAP ILM
11. You possess trong analytical skills, a structured working style, and excellent problem-solving capabilities
12. You have a team-oriented mindset and strong communication skills, paired with the ability to work independently
13. You are proactive and have strong willingness to continuously develop your professional and personal skills
14. Your proficiency in German and English completes your profile
