Salary: €70,000 – €90,000 + package
The Opportunity
A leading international engineering and construction specialist is looking to appoint a Mechanical & Electrical Engineer to join their growing project delivery team in Frankfurt, Germany. Operating across sectors such as data centres, pharmaceuticals, logistics, and advanced manufacturing, this business has built a strong reputation for delivering complex, high-specification projects across the UK and Europe.

The Role
Working as part of a high-performing project team, you’ll support both pre-construction and site delivery activities, ensuring the successful coordination and installation of mechanical & electrical systems across projects.
You’ll play a key role in maintaining quality, programme, and technical standards across the full project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate electrical engineering activities on-site in line with programme requirements
* Interpret and manage electrical drawings, specifications, and revisions
* Support setting out, cable routing, containment installation, and engineering control processes
* Monitor electrical installation quality in line with inspection and test plans (ITPs)
* Work closely with subcontractors and specialist vendors to ensure effective coordination and delivery
* Attend and contribute to project and coordination meetings
* Assist in preparing method statements, risk assessments, and work packages
* Support pre-construction activities including site setup, logistics, and planning
* Maintain accurate records, including test results and as-built documentation
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and electrical regulatory standards
About You
* Degree qualified in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or similar
* Strong understanding of electrical systems within construction projects (power, lighting, containment, earthing, etc.)
* Knowledge of Irish/EU electrical regulations and standards
* Experience working on complex construction projects (e.g. data centres, pharma, industrial)
* Strong communication and coordination skills
* Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and delivery
* Comfortable working in fast-paced project environments
Desirable
* Relevant site certifications (e.g. SMSTS, SSSTS, CSCS)
* First Aid qualification
* Experience with commissioning and energisation processes
