A leading consultancy in the energy and utilities sector is seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial Senior Manager for Transformation to lead strategic advisory projects focused on decarbonization, energy efficiency, and climate protection. This is a high-impact role working with top-tier clients across the NRW region, helping them design and implement sustainable transformation pathways. Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain long-term client relationships with industrial and utility clients.
Identify strategic opportunities and develop transformation programs focused on CO₂ reduction and energy efficiency.
Lead projects that optimize business and organizational models for future readiness.
Conduct techno-economic evaluations of decarbonization pathways, including internal power generation, grid integration, and energy market processes.
Communicate with stakeholders at all levels, preparing presentations and decision-making materials.
Actively engage with prospective clients and support business development efforts.
Your profile:
~5-7+ years of experience in consulting, utilities, or industrial transformation.
~ Strong technical and economic understanding of energy systems, including renewables, power plants, and grid infrastructure.
~ Proven experience in managing complex projects and leading client engagements.
~ Entrepreneurial mindset with a structured yet flexible approach to problem-solving.
~ Willingness to travel regularly (bi-weekly) to client sites in NRW.
~ Background in sectors like cement, paper, textiles, or chemicals.
