About This Role
As a seasoned cybersecurity expert, you will lead our organization's security team in developing and implementing strategic plans to protect our IT infrastructure, systems, and data. You will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our digital assets, aligning with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
This leadership role requires strong expertise in security strategy, governance, operations, and compliance. You will oversee security operations, including incident response, monitoring, detection, and mitigation. Your ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels is crucial in influencing decision-making and driving business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Security Strategy and Governance:
o Develop and maintain a comprehensive security strategy, aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
o Establish and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures across the organization.
o Provide strategic guidance on the organization's security posture and risk management.
* Security Operations and Incident Response:
o Oversee security operations, including monitoring, detection, and response to security incidents.
o Lead the incident response team, coordinating efforts to investigate and mitigate security incidents.
o Develop and maintain incident response plans, playbooks, and procedures.
* Security Architecture and Engineering:
o Define and maintain security architecture and design principles for IT systems and infrastructure.
o Collaborate with architecture and engineering teams to evaluate and implement security technologies.
o Conduct security reviews and assessments of systems and applications.
* Security Awareness and Training:
o Develop and deliver security awareness and training programs for employees.
o Provide guidance on security best practices and secure coding principles.
o Monitor and measure the effectiveness of security awareness initiatives.
* Security Compliance and Assurance:
o Manage security compliance initiatives, including regulatory assessments and certifications.
o Collaborate with internal audit and compliance teams to ensure adherence to security requirements.
o Maintain security documentation and evidence of compliance.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Information Security or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
* Proven experience (min 5 years) in information security, with a focus on security strategy, governance, operations, and compliance.
* Strong understanding of security frameworks, standards, and best practices.
* Experience leading cross-functional security teams in a dynamic environment.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
