We are looking for a motivated intern to support our team with hands-on and analytical tasks by helping prepare sourcing activities, tracking supplier readiness and milestones, maintaining material and cost data, and contributing to reporting and committee documentation. In this role, you support planning, tracking, and process improvement activities that help keep purchasing operations transparent and continuously optimized. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on insights into automotive and high-tech supplier ecosystems by supporting supplier scouting activities, preparation of negotiations, and related purchasing initiatives. Your respective scope of responsibility: Support sourcing planning and help prepare and follow up on series nominations or prototype orders Track supplier production readiness and industrialization progress by following milestones such as tool orders or other supplier development deliverables Support material data management and contribute to material cost tracking and evaluation Track performance in indirect procurement Support project management tasks by preparing documents for internal committees such as global sourcing meetings, spend control tower, and product board Perform a holistic review of purchasing processes and support continuous optimization initiatives Prepare and participate in supplier meetings and partner workshops Your profile Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in economics, engineering, (business) information technology, or a related field Interest in purchasing and ideally first experience in either purchasing, at an OEM, or at a management consultancy Strong analytical skills and an affinity for numbers Structured working style and precise communication skills that help you convince others Enjoy working in an interdisciplinary and international environment in both German and English Solid user-level IT skills in Excel and PowerPoint, ideally with some exposure to Power BI, Coupa, or SAP About us HOLON is one of the first vehicle manufacturers for autonomous movers with the standards and scaling potential that we know from the automotive industry. The vehicle operates at a top speed of 60 kilometers / 37 miles per hour and can accommodate up to 15 passengers. The HOLON urban is barrier-free and offers an automated ramp, a secured wheelchair space and auditory and visual support for passengers. In addition to conventional scheduled services, the mover is to be used as an on-demand means of transport in order to meet the mobility needs of users.
