The Vestas Service Offshore organisation is responsible for all activities in relation to the operation and maintenance of offshore windfarms in Northern and Central Europe. We currently have more than 4 GW under service contracts and we are continuously growing our pipeline and organisation.
The wind farm you will be working at is Baltic Eagle consisting of Vestas V-9.5 MW turbines with a total capacity of MW Km north east off the coast of the Island of Rügen, in the German Baltic Sea. The transfer will be daily via CTV from Sassnitz/Mukran to the turbines. You will become part of an exciting journey all the way from the beginning of setting up the service site and following operations under the 5 year service contract plus the option for the customer to extend the contract for another 5 years.
As an Offshore Service Technician, you will work in a team of 3 or 4 technicians at the offshore wind farm, managed daily by the Site Supervisor.

Your Profile – You’ve Got What It Takes!
21. Completed training as an electrician, electrician/mechatronics engineer (EFK)
22. Preferably you have worked in the wind and/or offshore industry.
23. Profound knowledge of medium or high voltage systems
24. Good English and German skills both spoken and written
25. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
