About the LCSB
The Luxembourg Centre for Systems Biomedicine is an interdisciplinary research centre at the University of Luxembourg.
Our focus lies in Systems Biology and Biomedicine, with a special interest in neurodegenerative processes such as Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease.
We are looking for talented scientists from various disciplines to contribute to our research.
In this project, we aim at developing novel models for the human brain, specifically focusing on Parkinson's disease.
You will work in the Developmental and Cellular Biology Group, led by Prof. Jens Schwamborn, utilizing human stem cells for modeling neurodegeneration disease.
As a postdoctoral researcher, you will lead this demanding project and take responsibility for it.
To succeed in this role, you should have experience in:
* human stem cell research
* high content imaging
* multi electrode array technology or reprogramming of somatic cells into pluripotency
* computational image analysis
Experience in aging research is highly desirable.
We offer a unique opportunity to be part of an international team, working in a multilingual and dynamic environment.
Our state-of-the-art facilities and equipment ensure a high-quality research experience.
