We are seeking a professional for the role of Case Manager. As a case manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and steering the entire specimen management process along the diagnostic chain - from the receipt of requests to the issuance of test results. This includes managing data in laboratory information systems, collaborating closely with various departments and external partners to ensure smooth and timely diagnostics, monitoring and optimizing specimen logistics and related processes, creating and maintaining specimen management documentation and reports, supporting the implementation of quality management and process improvement measures in specimen management, and representing the lab.
* This position requires a completed education as a study nurse, medical assistant, or similar qualification in the healthcare sector.
* Prior experience in case management or specimen management is an advantage.
* A solid understanding of medical terminology is necessary.
* You should have independent and solution-oriented working methods, as well as the ability to find practical solutions even in complex situations.
* A high level of organizational skills and a structured work approach are required.
* Excellent communication skills, team spirit, and service orientation are essential.
* Familiarity with MS Office is expected.
