The Opportunity
In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth commercial execution of our projects. You will oversee billing processes, ensure compliance with accounting and tax regulations, and serve as a vital interface between project teams, finance, and external stakeholders.
Success in this role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams and a strong team-oriented mindset.
How You’ll Make an Impact
1. Manage end-to-end customer invoicing in line with HGB / IFRS and tax regulations across project, service, and rental business
2. Oversee billing plans, advance payments, and bank guarantees
3. Monitor receivables and drive follow-up on overdue payments
4. Handle credit notes and ensure overall billing accuracy
5. Coordinate master data (MDG) workflows for business partners
6. Prepare export, customs, and shipping documentation including compliance requirements
7. Act as a commercial partner to Sales and Project Management throughout the project lifecycle
8. Ensure compliance with internal controls (SOX), audits, and regulatory standards
Your Background
9. Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or similar qualification
10. Relevant experience in commercial project handling, accounting, or controlling
11. Strong SAP knowledge (ideally SD and CO) and good understanding of billing processes
12. Solid knowledge of HGB / IFRS and tax regulations
13. Strong analytical skills with a structured and detail-oriented working style
14. Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate across functions and cultures; fluent in German and English
