The person appointed will also lead the planned Klaus Faber Institute of Neuroimmunology, which will focus on fundamental research on neuroimmunological diseases, particularly multiple sclerosis and its environment. The appointee should be able to teach and conduct research across all areas of neuroimmunology, focusing on the multiple sclerosis complex. The ideal candidate should bring leadership experience and be distinguished for their research excellence. We are looking for an individual with an established international reputation in their field and an out-standing record in both teaching and research who will contribute significantly to the progress of ongoing projects and will play a key role in establishing new interdisciplinary and interfaculty collaborative projects. Ideally, the successful candidate should demonstrate a clear connection between their research and the faculty-s research agenda.
