TheSales Specialist Imaging at MolecularDevices is responsible for identifying customer needs and offeringinnovative solutions that advance scientific research while workingin the company’s best interest to maximize opportunities, closedeals effectively, and ensure strong commercial outcomes.
This position reports to the European Sales DirectorImaging and is part of the commercial department, with thecompany’s subsidiary based in Munich, Germany. The role isremote and focused on covering theterritory of Southern Germany and Austria.
In this role, you will have the opportunityto:
* Collaborate with a European team of experienced ImagingSales Specialists and cross-functional Sales Colleagues to deliverinnovative solutions to customers.
* Maintain accurate CRM (SFDC) records to support structuredsales processes, forecasting, and reporting.
* Actively engage in weekly funnel reviews,marketing meetings, and timely submission of requiredreports.
* Contribute tothe creation and upkeep of a comprehensive Territory Plan to drivestrategic growth.
* Consistently achieve monthly and annual sales targetswithin the assigned territory.
The essential requirements of the jobinclude:
* BSc degree or higher, preferably in a life science areawith a biology background or related.
* At least 3 years customer facing experience inLife sciences business within Academic or Government or Biotech orPharma research laboratories, like direct sales, sales support,applications support, technical support, service or other customerfacing role.
* A solidcommercial acumen paired with the drive to support our customers’research through cutting-edge solutions.
* Native German speaker or German languageproficiency at B2/C1 level. Fluent in English, both written andspoken.
* Practicalexperience in cellular biology, such as working with mammalian cellcultures
**Travel, MotorVehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:**
* Must have a validdriver’s license with an acceptable driving record
* ability to travel and work awayfrom home, including occasional overnight trips to visit customersand international travel to collaborate with teams across MolecularDevices.
* On average 2-3days per week with customer visits
It would be a plus if you alsopossess previous experience in:
* Manual or automated cellular microscopy byeducation or from previous job.
* Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, such asSalesforce.com
