Business Development Manager Mission-Critical Electrical Infrastructure (Germany) European Markets – Focused on Germany Up to €90,000 Fixed Salary Benefits Commission Based Bonus Scheme UNCAPPED OTE €120,000 Focused on M&E Contractors and Channel Management through Electrical Resellers/Distributors/Wholesalers German & English Fluency Required Field Based Role A leading European manufacturer of cable containment and electrical infrastructure solutions is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth across Germany and wider European markets. The business is well established, invests heavily in product development and offers strong technical backing and long-term career progression. The opportunity You will take ownership of developing new business and growing key accounts for a portfolio of cable containment and related solutions used in high‑integrity electrical installations. The role focuses on mission‑critical environments, including: Data centres and cloud infrastructure projects. Commercial buildings and large real‑estate developments. Industrial projects, utilities and infrastructure schemes. Energy, nuclear and other regulated environments where reliability is essential. Working from a Germany base (ideally accessible to major transport hubs such as the Frankfurt region), you will manage the full sales cycle from specification through to order, working closely with internal sales, technical and operations teams. Key responsibilities Identify, develop and secure new project opportunities across Germany, with additional scope across mainland Europe. Leverage and expand your existing network across data centres, commercial construction, industrial projects, nuclear and other complex environments. Build strong relationships across the electrical supply chain – contractors, consultants, specifiers, OEMs and major electrical wholesalers. Promote technically‑led solutions via site visits, design-stage engagement and presentations to project stakeholders. Monitor market trends, competitor activity and upcoming projects to position the range for specification and approval. About you Proven track record in business development or technical sales within cable containment, electrical installation, or closely related industrial products. Established network across at least some of: data centres, commercial buildings, large projects, nuclear, utilities or other mission‑critical environments. Comfortable working with electrical contractors, wholesalers, consultants and end‑clients on complex, multi‑stakeholder projects. Strong understanding of electrical installation practices and standards in high‑reliability environments. Willing to travel regularly throughout Germany, with occasional wider European travel as required. Fluent German and strong English communication skills.
