Job Description The Head of Sales and Marketing at vaylens is responsible for the strategic and operational development of all sales and marketing activities, with a clear focus on sustainable growth, brand building, and international expansion. This role is pivotal to the company’s success in the rapidly growing e-mobility sector and is part of the management team of vaylens GmbH. Key Responsibilities: Strategy & Market Development Develop and implement a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy Focus on market development in the UK, France, and the DACH region Create a market entry strategy for Sweden/Norway and additional markets from 2026 onwards Strengthen the positioning of our new brand in the market Closely monitor market trends, especially within the emobility sector Drive business growth with a clear focus on software-as-a-service (SaaS) models, including subscription-based offerings and platform scalability Leadership & Organization Lead a team of currently 13 employees across five units (e.g. Sales DACH, UK, FR, Sales Operations, Brand & Marketing) Establish clear responsibilities and foster team cohesion and performance Expand the team both in Germany and abroad Sales & Customer Management Manage and expand strategic key accounts in the e-mobility sector Support the sales team in acquiring new key accounts Represent the company at trade shows, customer meetings, and industry events, including speaking engagements Oversee proposal development, negotiations, and contract closures Marketing & Brand Visibility Responsible for further developing the brand identity and market presence Increase brand awareness in relevant European markets Plan and execute targeted campaigns (online/offline) Manage external service providers, agencies, and platforms KPI Management & Reporting Analyze and manage relevant sales and marketing KPIs across all markets Prepare and present forecasts, budget plans, and performance reports for vaylens management and KOSTAL Group stakeholders Ensure planning reliability and transparency through structured reporting and clear performance tracking
