Service Engineer – Earthmoving Equipment
The Service Engineer is responsible for providing professional technical support for earthmoving equipment across the assigned region. Acting as the key technical interface between the company, dealers, and end customers, this role focuses on equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, dealer technical capability development, and ensuring high service quality and customer satisfaction.
Technical Service & Troubleshooting
Perform commissioning, inspection, maintenance, and repair of earthmoving equipment (excavators, wheel loaders, etc.)
Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical failures using systematic troubleshooting methods
Provide on-site technical support for complex or critical equipment issues
Prepare detailed service reports and technical documentation
Dealer Technical Support & Capability Development
Provide technical guidance and on-site support to dealers’ service teams
Conduct regular assessments of dealer service capabilities and identify gaps
Support dealer technicians in improving diagnostic and repair efficiency
Assist in building dealer service standards, tools, and processes
Service Process & Warranty Support
Support dealers in proper execution of service and warranty processes
Ensure compliance with company service policies and procedures
Monitor key service KPIs such as response time and repair efficiency
Spare Parts & Maintenance Support
Identify spare parts requirements during service activities
Support parts availability by coordinating with warehouse and parts teams
Assist dealers in improving parts usage and maintenance planning
Collect and report product quality issues from the field
Support implementation of technical bulletins and product modifications
Customer Support & Satisfaction
Support dealers in handling critical customer issues
Contribute to improving customer satisfaction and service experience
Diploma or above in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering, or related fields
Minimum 3 years of experience in after-sales service of construction machinery / heavy equipment / trucks
Solid knowledge of hydraulics, diesel engines, and electrical systems
Ability to read technical drawings and service manuals
Customer-oriented mindset with good communication skills
Fluent English (working language)
Local language required
Willingness to travel frequently within assigned region
