We are currently seeking 2 experienced Project Controllers to join a dynamic international project team in Munich on a 12-month onsite contract.
This role is ideal for professionals with strong project coordination, financial administration, and stakeholder management skills, combined with excellent German and English communication abilities.
📍 Role Overview
As a Project Controller, you will provide comprehensive support across project coordination, financial tracking, documentation management, reporting, and stakeholder communication to ensure smooth project execution and governance compliance.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams across Europe and the US, supporting structured delivery within a complex project environment.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
💰 Invoice & Financial Support
* Process, validate, and log overhead invoices
* Prepare VAT breakdowns for compliance and reporting
* Support finance teams with actuals and forecasts
📁 Project Documentation & Repository Management
* Maintain structured SharePoint/project repositories
* Ensure version control, audit readiness, and document traceability
🧑🤝🧑 Meetings & Coordination
* Organize meetings, agendas, and logistics
* Prepare minutes and action trackers within agreed SLAs
* Track actions and Statements of Work updates
🌍 Proposals & German Translation Support
* Support proposal preparation and milestone tracking
* Translate project and grant-related documentation into German
* Assist with funding and compliance documentation
✈️ Events, Travel & Workshops
* Coordinate events, training sessions, and workshops
* Manage travel planning and consolidated updates
* Prepare event runbooks and post-event reports
📊 Project Execution & Reporting
* Maintain project schedules, gating, and milestones
* Produce dashboards, KPI reports, and leadership summaries
* Support procurement and stakeholder coordination
📈 Portfolio & Business Support
* Provide ad hoc administrative and strategic support
* Assist with quarterly initiative tracking and reporting
🎯 Requirements
* Strong experience in project coordination / PMO / project control
* Background in finance administration or invoice processing
* Excellent organizational and documentation skills
* Fluent German and English (mandatory)
* Experience with SharePoint, Excel, and project tracking tools
* Strong stakeholder management skills in international environments
