Site Supervisor / Construction Manager (Mechanical Assembly & Commissioning) For one of Germany’s leading manufacturing companies, for which we provide recruitment consultancy, we are looking for an experienced Site Supervisor / Construction Manager. Role Objective Ensure on-time, high-quality assembly and commissioning of mechanical systems and equipment Deliver excellent service and ensure high customer satisfaction on-site ️ Key Responsibilities Independent assembly and commissioning of high-quality conveyor systems and industrial equipment at the factory and/or customer sites in Germany and abroad Partial leadership and coordination of site assembly teams Execution of worldwide service activities, including maintenance and inspections Receiving, installing, and replacing spare parts at customer sites Troubleshooting, fault analysis, and resolution of mechanical issues Conducting customer training sessions at the main plant and on-site Representing the company on construction sites and fostering long-term customer relationships through a service-oriented approach ✅ Your Profile Technical Qualifications Completed vocational training or degree in a mechanical or metalworking field (e.g. Industrial Mechanic, Mechanical Technician/Engineer, etc.) 5 years of relevant experience in field assembly, mechanical installation, or commissioning of large components and systems Experience in industrial plants, energy projects, machinery, process or equipment installation Very good English skills; German (A2 or higher) is an advantage Basic PC and technical documentation skills Personal & Professional Skills Strong problem-solving skills in site-based environments High level of communication skills and customer orientation Ability to work independently as well as within international teams Confident, professional, and convincing presence on-site Strong organizational and leadership capabilities Willingness to travel internationally and work at different locations Motivation for a long-term career and life in Germany What We Offer IG Metall collective agreement €90,000 – €120,000 gross annual salary (depending on experience and qualifications) Permanent (unlimited) employment contract Relocation support International projects within the energy & industrial plants sector Stable role within a well-established German manufacturing company
