Associate Director – Marketing Lead DACH (m/f/x) | homeoffice-based within Germany | Pulmonology / Rare Disease
The holder of this position will be key member of the DACH Commercial team, responsible for the development and execution of strategies and tactics to ensure launch preparation and attainment of brand objectives. This position will develop plans and utilize appropriate tools and tactics to execute on disease education and brand initiatives in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders and in close collaboration with the EMEA Marketing team.
What will your tasks as “Associate Director - Marketing Lead DACH (m/f/x)” be?
* The role will be required to work directly with the Heads of Regional Sales on regional and national activities. Learnings will be shared with other EU country organizations to ensure a smooth launch in these markets.
* Develop and execute disease awareness campaigns, brand campaigns and product marketing plans (localization and roll-out) and ensure consistency across DACH region.
* Support on the role out of key programs and training initiatives in the DACH region.
* Work closely with Sales, Legal, Regulatory, Compliance, Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Patient Advocacy team members to align and compliantly execute key tactical activities.
* Establish strong relationships and develop collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders, including KOLs and professional societies.
* Working closely with the financial business partner, identify and manage resources (budget tracking and agency management).
* Develop and share a deep understanding of customers’ insights.
* Support media strategy implementation including social media and digital campaigns.
* Develop measurable project plans with clear objectives, milestones, resource requirements, and deliverables and be accountable for successful completion of projects on time and on budget.
Your requirements as a “Associate Director - Marketing Lead DACH (m/f/x)”?
* Degree in one of the Life Sciences or a Marketing related discipline
* 5+ years of commercial experience, 3+ years in pharmaceutical/biotech marketing
* Rare disease/ specialty pharma and/ or respiratory disease experience preferred.
* have excellent communication skills, cross functional leadership, and a proven ability to influence across the organization.
* ability to develop exceptional relationships and have an impact on, or appropriately influence, others including experience in managing external partners (e.g. consultants, agencies)
* experience with regulatory and pharmaceutical legal promotional review processes
* Highly organized with a strong attention to detail, clarity, accuracy, and conciseness
* Fluency in German and English essential
Important information:
* This position reports directly to the Commercial Operations Lead DACH, working closely with the DACH Heads of Regional Sales and Medical counter parts
* This is a non-supervisory position for the time being
* Ability to travel approximately 25% of the time
* The position will be homeoffice based across Germany (only in corporate office for purposeful meetings)
* Anticipated start date: 01.09.2024 / 01.10.2024
