Responsibilities

* Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety training programs for employees.
* Perform root cause analysis to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
* Prepare detailed reports on safety incidents, inspections, and compliance status.
* Collaborate with management to create a culture of safety within the organization.
* Stay updated on EPA regulations and ensure organizational adherence.
* Provide first aid and CPR training as needed to staff members.
* Assist in the development of emergency response plans and procedures.
* Manage workers' compensation claims and ensure compliance with relevant laws.
Requirements
* Proven experience in environmental health and safety roles or related fields.
* Strong knowledge of occupational health standards and workers' compensation law.
* Familiarity with EPA regulations and compliance requirements.
* Excellent report writing skills with attention to detail.
* Ability to develop effective training programs tailored to various audiences.
* Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred.
* Strong analytical skills for conducting root cause analysis.
* Ability to fabricate solutions for safety challenges as they arise.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
