If you're currently located elsewhere but would like to move to Germany, we’re happy to support your relocation.Team missionSolutions at Upvest are seen as a trusted technical advisor for prospective clients, using industry and Upvest expertise to provide innovative, tailored solutions that empower them to build world-leading investment experiences.Your missionAs a Solutions Engineer you will partner with our sales team to demonstrate the value of Upvest to prospective clients and develop a deep understanding of their business needs and challenges. You will combine industry experience and Upvest expertise, to provide technical consulting and in-depth solutions to Europe’s largest financial services companies and fintechs, including industry leaders like Revolut, N26 and Raisin.A key part of this role involves seamless cross-functional collaboration with our product, engineering, operations and banking teams, to ensure we are developing comprehensive solutions that address all requirements. You’ll be responsible for helping drive Upvest’s revenue by enabling and unblocking clients through to contract and ensuring successful handover to our client launch team.What You Can Expect From This RoleEnable Europe’s top financial services companies and fintechs to build state-of-the-art brokerage and wealth propositionsIn this role, you’ll work closely with and consult Europe’s top financial services companies and fintechs. Owning and conducting thorough discovery to understand prospective clients business and technical requirements you’ll present and lead engaging, customised demonstrations that clearly articulate Upvest's value. This is an opportunity to think holistically about their investments strategy and the investment infrastructure ecosystem, while also being hands-on when required and detail oriented.Act as a trusted technical advisorAs a trusted technical advisor, you’ll build strong relationships with stakeholders to understand their existing and target state architecture and processes. You will become a recognised expert in Upvest’s product offering and the investment platform market, staying aware of industry trends and challenges. By owning the creation of crucial resources including solution deep-dives, proposals and architecture overviews, you’ll support prospective clients’ decision making, as well as supporting the smooth transition of projects to the client launch team for implementation.Drive cross-functional collaborationPartnering with sales, you will develop and deliver compelling solutions workshops and product deep-dives to scope out client requirements in-depth. You will contribute to building scalable processes and materials that streamline the sales cycle and facilitate client onboarding. You will also capture and articulate client feedback, feature enhancements and priorities - working closely with product and engineering to ensure optimal roadmap alignment. Operating in a regulated environment, you will facilitate cross-functional collaboration across all Upvest departments (from product and engineering, to operations and banking) to ensure solution compliance.What You’ll BringExperience across solutions engineering, technical sales or client facing consulting roles within complex financial services.Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills, effectively engaging both business and technical stakeholders.Solid technical background and a passion for technology and the investment market with a proactive approach to learning and knowledge sharing.Business fluent in German and English is essential.It’s great if youBring a client-first mindset and a pragmatic approach to solving problems, capturing and translating requirements into technical solutions with a strong attention to detail.Are self-motivated and thrive in autonomous environments with excellent time management and organizational skills to handle multiple priorities effectively and take ownership of outcomes.Have experience in the investment space and B2B SaaS products.Why Upvest?We're working on solving a hard problem: fixing the European securities financial infrastructure that empowers more people to be able to invest.
