Job Title: Catholic Administrative Pastoral Life Coordinator
Location: USAG Rheinland-Pfalz (Baumholder & Kaiserslautern Military Communities)
Key Responsibilities
* Provide administrative and coordination support for Catholic worship services and programs
* Assist the Catholic Chaplain/Priest in organizing and executing religious services in accordance with Church guidelines
* Develop and maintain weekly bulletins, announcements, and communication materials
* Create and manage a monthly calendar of Catholic events and activities
* Coordinate community events, religious programs, and publicity efforts
* Maintain parish registration records and sacramental documentation
* Support communication between chapel leadership and the Catholic community
* Attend and participate in meetings to support religious program planning
* Ensure all activities align with Archdiocese and military chapel policies
Schedule
* Work hours vary based on program needs and chapel schedule (not a standard 9–5 role)
* Core office hours generally fall within:
o Monday–Friday: 0800–1700 (as needed)
* Additional hours may include:
o Evenings, weekends, and holidays to support services and events
Qualifications
* Ability to obtain Catechist certification within 90 days
* Strong administrative, organizational, and communication skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
* Ability to work independently and coordinate multiple tasks
* Strong understanding of Catholic practices and community programs
* Professional demeanor and ability to work in a military religious environment
