Salary: 60.000 - 90.000 € per year Requirements: Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with several years of experience. Proven experience in an ASIC / IC design environment or in CAD engineering. Strong hands-on experience with EDA tools (Cadence or similar). Solid Linux/Unix and scripting skills (e.g. Tcl, Perl, Python). Experience with Mixed-Signal or SoC design flows. Experience with Spectre / AMS / Xrun, which would be an advantage. Knowledge of compute farms (LSF, Grid), which would be an advantage. Fluent knowledge of German and English language. Responsibilities: Own and continuously improve the Mixed-Signal ASIC design environment (EDA toolchain & flows). Support analog and digital designers in complex CAD/EDA topics. Integrate and maintain PDKs, EDA tools and simulation environments. Troubleshoot design flow and tool issues across the full ASIC lifecycle. Collaborate with EDA vendors (e.g. Cadence) and foundries.
