We are looking for an experienced and technically skilled Head of Fraud Management (m/f/d) to establish and lead our Fraud Management function. This role focuses on cyber fraud risks in the e-commerce/webshop environment and requires both strategic leadership and hands-on technical expertise.
Responsibilities
* Build and lead a Fraud Management team to protect against cyber-enabled fraud
* Design and maintain fraud detection, prevention, and response processes
* Collaborate closely with Cyber Defense, SOC, Customer Care, and Payment/Fraud teams
* Analyze fraud trends and develop detection and mitigation mechanisms
* Own, develop, and enhance fraud tools, rule sets, and machine learning models
* Define KPIs, dashboards, and reports to ensure visibility and track performance
Requirements
* 3+ years of experience in fraud management, cybersecurity, or cybercrime prevention within e-commerce, payment, or financial services
* Strong technical skills in fraud detection systems, web security, and data analysis
* In-depth knowledge of fraud types such as account takeover, voucher/refund abuse, and payment fraud
* Experience with programming languages (e.g., Python, Java) and query languages (e.g., SQL, KQL) for data analysis
* Proven leadership skills and experience managing high-performing teams
* Fluent in English; German or other European languages are a plus
