Your Tasks
1. Responsibility for requirements management at system level in accordance with standards (in particular ECSS-E-ST-10C and -E-ST-10-06C)
2. Gathering requirements from customers, stakeholders, regulations and standards
3. Analysing system requirements in terms of feasibility, consistency and traceability along the entire development chain
4. Deriving, structuring and maintaining technical requirements ( functional, mechanical, thermal requirements) in close collaboration with customers, stakeholders, regulations and standards. 5. Responsibility for the verification and validation process throughout the entire product life cycle
6. Planning and implementation of system verification & validation
7. Creation of specifications and concepts for the system design and selection of suitable technologies
8. Independent creation of product and technology development plans
9. Creation of risk assessments
10. Coordination of the development activities of various specialist departments and technical management of the project team
11. Continuous coordination with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders
12. Technical monitoring of budgets, schedules and resources
13. Coordination of the cross-departmental creation of technical documentation.
14. Coordination within the core project team (project management, production, quality) and participation in reviews ( CDR, TRR, IRR) and audits
15. Participation in the preparation of quotations, system architecture and design in interdisciplinary teams focussing on performance, system costs, OTD, OTC, OTQ.
Your Qualifications
16. Degree in aerospace engineering or comparable qualification
17. Several years of experience in system engineering, requirements management and verification planning as well as in leading interdisciplinary teams
18. Very good knowledge of tools such as IBM DOORS, Polarion and the corresponding ECSS standards.
19. Good organisational skills, solution-oriented agile work and professional communication in interdisciplinary teams
20. Good ability to assess technical, economic and scheduling issues
21. Strong teamwork and communication skills
22. Familiar with configuration and quality management in the aerospace environment
23. Very good written and spoken English
24. Desirable: Knowledge of Siemens Teamcenter, CAD, MBSE, SAP
