The position is temporary for 18 months.
Your Tasks
1. Analysis of system requirements from customers, stakeholders, regulations and standards.
2. Development of a system solution for space applications that integrates electrical, electronic, software and mechanical systems.
3. Derivation of the system design and definition of interfaces.
4. Technical leadership in the preparation of quotations, creation of feasibility and system performance analyses
5. Identifying system costs with a focus on design-to-cost, OTD, OTC, OTQ.
6. Creating system specifications and concepts for the system design.
7. Responsibility for development plans at the system level.
8. Creating technical risk assessments.
9. Managing development partners, including technical subcontractor management.
10. Coordinating the development activities of various departments and providing technical leadership for the project team.
11. Continuous coordination with customers, suppliers, manufacturing, purchasing, project management and stakeholders.
12. Technical monitoring of budgets, schedules and resources
13. Coordination of cross-departmental creation of technical documentation.
14. Coordination within the core project team (project management, production, quality) and conducting design reviews ( CDR, TRR, IRR)
Your Qualifications
15. Completed degree in electrical engineering or comparable qualification
16. At least 6 years of professional experience in the design of electronic/electrical systems in the field of cryogenic products or aerospace, as well as in leading interdisciplinary teams
17. Several years of experience in technical subcontractor management and MBSE methods ( SysML Capella) and system engineering standards ( ECSS, INCOSE)
18. Good organisational skills, solution-oriented agile working
19. Good judgement of technical, economic and scheduling issues
20. Strong team and communication skills
21. Very good written and spoken English
22. Desirable: knowledge of Siemens Teamcenter, CAD, SAP
