For our Finance team, we are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant (m/f/d) to join our team at Trek in Hartmannsdorf / Germany.
Senior Accountant (m/f/d) Swiss Code of Obligations (CO) Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the full set of financial accounts in accordance with the Swiss Code of Obligations (CO
* Take full ownership of monthly and annual financial statements under Swiss GAAP (CO),
* including all related processes and deliverables
* Maintain the general ledger, sub-ledgers, and fixed assets accounting Perform account reconciliations, accruals, and provisions
* Support internal and external audits and liaise with auditors
* Prepare and review Swiss VAT returns and ensure tax compliance Analyze financial data and prepare management reports
* Proactively identify improvement opportunities, optimize accounting processes and internal controls, and support digitalization initiatives
Your profile:
* Completed commercial education with further training in Accounting / Finance (e.g. Swiss Federal Diploma in Finance and Accounting or equivalent)
* Several years of professional experience as a Senior Accountant or in a similar role
* Proven track record in independently managing full financial closings Strong knowledge of the Swiss Code of Obligations (CO); Swiss VAT knowledge is an advantage
* Confident user of ERP systems
* Structured, analytical, and independent working style combined with a strong ownership mindset and accountability
* High level of accuracy, reliability, and sense of responsibility
* Fluent in German; Business fluent English
