Your Responsibilities In a technical leadership role, you will be further strengthening our sizeable and well-rounded Data Science team. Drive hands-on the development of innovative and highly impactful AI products ensuring their successful market launch Provide technical leadership, guidance and mentorship to a high-performing and highly impactful data science team fostering a culture of excellence and innovation. Define and implement Deep Learning architectures and strategies creating synergies across data science projects aligned with AP Sensing’s business needs. Stay ahead of emerging trends and best practices in data science, AI, and advanced analytics, introducing innovative ideas to the team. Engage with engineering, product, domain experts and business to align with products and organizational goals. Report to and co-ordinate with the Data Science Manager. Your Profile 7 years of hands-on experience in applied data science, with at least 2 years in a technical leadership role. Proven track record of delivering impactful data science solutions in a business environment. Outstanding ability in proactively developing high performing data science solutions in short time frames. Strong Python programming skills and expertise in machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn). Deep understanding of latest deep learning architectures and how to apply them on complex sensor data. Hands-on mentality being deeply involved in all stages of the MLOps Lifecylce. Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or related field. A PhD is a plus. Ability to present complex machine learning outcomes in simple narratives to non-technical stakeholders.
