Responsibilities
1. Lead and manage the finance team, ensuring effective day-to-day operations.
2. Oversee all accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and cost accounting.
3. Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes in accordance with IFRS and local GAAP.
4. Prepare and analyze financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss reports.
5. Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, including variance analysis and financial modeling.
6. Ensurepliance with internal controls (, SOX) and external audit requirements.
7. Monitor cash flow, manage liquidity, and support financing activities.
8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and international finance counterparts.
9. Support ERP system enhancements and finance-related projects.
10. Stay up to date with changes in accounting standards and financial regulations.
11. Ensure timely and accurate tax and VAT filings.
12. Report key financial trends and insights to senior leadership.
Qualifications
13. Certified Accountant (, Bilanzbuchhalter or equivalent international certification).
14. Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Controlling.
15. Fluent in German and English; additional language skills (, Mandarin) are a plus.
16. Strong knowledge of IFRS and local accounting standards (, HGB).
17. Proficiency in ERP systems (, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central) and MS Excel.
18. Experience with SOXpliance is advantageous.
19. Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in accounting/finance, ideally in a manufacturing or production environment.
20. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
21. Ability to lead teams and work collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.
