Your role:
4. We are looking for a Sous Chef
5. You will report to the Head Chef and Executive Chef
Key responsibilities:
Kitchen Operations
6. Assist the Head Chef in the daily management of kitchen operations.
7. Supervise food preparation and production for airline meals according to airline specifications and menus.
8. Ensure meals are prepared, portioned, and presented according to company and airline standards.
9. Maintain strict adherence to recipes, portion control, and presentation guidelines.
Team Leadership
10. Supervise and coordinate the work of cooks, and kitchen assistants.
11. Assist in scheduling staff to meet production demands.
12. Ensure team members follow hygiene, grooming, and safety policies.
Food Safety & Quality Control
13. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, HACCP standards, and company policies.
14. Monitor food handling, storage, labelling, and temperature controls.
15. Conduct quality checks on ingredients and finished products.
16. Maintain cleanliness and organization in all kitchen areas.
Qualifications
17. Diploma or certification in Culinary Arts or a related field.
18. Minimum 3–5 years of culinary experience in a high-volume kitchen.
19. Previous experience in inflight catering, large-scale catering, or hotel production kitchens preferred.
20. Strong knowledge of food safety standards and HACCP.
21. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

25. Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Perfil
26. Good German and English skills required.
27. A valid security clearance (ZÜV) in accordance with §7 LuftSiG is mandatory.
