Join our Quantitative Development and Modelling group - a dynamic team of developers and analysts responsible for designing and evolving the backbone of our quantitative libraries and analytics, all with direct impact on our global trading and risk management activities.
This is your opportunity to steer the architecture and direction of our growing quant infrastructure, collaborating daily with quants, traders, IT and Risk teams, and reporting into the Head of Quantitative Development and Modelling. Foster the development of robust, scalable, and lean code infrastructure, prioritising reuse and extensibility.
Contribute hands-on to all stages of agile library development: from design to high-quality coding, code reviews, and ongoing maintenance.
Ensure model integrity and compliance, delivering continuous improvements and swift bug resolutions.
At least 10 years of hands-on experience in building, refactoring, and architecting quantitative libraries within financial or trading environments.
Strong, demonstrable track record in software architecture and design within quant-driven teams.
Broad understanding of financial products and valuation across energy, commodities, equities and FX - with any exposure to fixed income or credit as an advantage.
Mastery of C#, C++, and Python for the design and implementation of quant infrastructure, including support for distributed systems on Windows and Linux (containerised environments).
Strategic mindset combined with hands-on execution, balancing quality, agility and governance in a business-critical environment.
Experience integrating and supporting multi-platform environments and service-based deployments.
Exposure to fixed income or credit product modelling.
Familiarity with innovative approaches to scaling quant infrastructure in global trading operations.
