Housekeeper Opportunity in Mougins, France – September 2026 start
Munich, Germany – Relocation assistance potentially offered for exceptional candidates
Proactive, independent, experienced housekeeper required for a private family at their main residence near Munich, Germany. The property is a new build with its own gardens, approx. 4,500 sqm including the gardens.
Essential Requirements
1. Professional housekeeping experience in UHNW Private residence, alternatively with yachting experience. Experience in 5-star-hotels also possible.
2. Consistent longevity in previous positions and excellent references is essential.
3. Willingness to work at weekends and bank holidays.
4. Driver with full licence, EU Passport essential.
5. Confident IT skills.
6. Languages required Fluent English and German.
7. Strictly Non-Smoker, high level of discretion, reliability and responsibility.
8. Still working hands-on, also when the person is in a leading housekeeping position.
Responsibilities
9. Professional cleaning and care of high-end furnishings and fabrics.
10. Exclusive laundry care – including delicate fabrics, silks, cashmere etc.
11. Care of high quality and special finishes – marble, granite, slate floors and parkette.
12. Preparation of breakfast and cooking of light fresh healthy meals (occasionally, because there is a cook).
13. Supervision and coordination of external trades and contractors.
14. Running errands – grocery shopping, dry cleaning, post office, deliveries etc.
15. Driving for household shopping.
16. Managing, organising 2 housekeepers in Munich (weekly working plans, holidays etc.)
17. Being responsible for budgeting for running errands.
18. Service for Dinner/Events in the house, if needed.
19. Responsibilities may be expanded depending on seniority and broader professional experience.
General conditions
20. This vacancy is a long-term position.
21. 40 hours per week include weekends and public holidays (if they work on the weekends, they have free time the following Monday and Tuesday)
22. When the principals are in residence the working day is split into 2 shifts: 08:00-13:00 and 18:00-21:00.
23. There will be a team of 3 housekeepers in total working on rotation, reporting to the House Manager.
24. Salary between €45.000 & €65.000 per annum depending on previous experience. The salary includes an accommodation allowance.
25. Holidays 26 days per annum.
