What to expect?
The Technical Presales Consultant will be the main contact for all security offerings in the region. Your responsibilities will include developing security solutions, competitive costing, and aligning business cases to support client environments. You'll collaborate with sales and account teams to shape proposals, using standard solutions when possible and working with delivery teams on custom solutions as needed.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with large and complex organizations. We're seeking someone who can influence client decisions and manage ongoing service delivery, security, compliance, and technology transformations to meet client needs.
Responsibilities:
1. Partner with sales and account teams to identify opportunities, develop business cases, and drive strategic sales initiatives
2. Effectively position and communicate DXC’s GIS Security solutions to clients, partners, and internal teams, bridging business and technical needs
3. Lead solution shaping by assessing customer requirements and aligning them with DXC’s core offerings to deliver tailored, high-value solutions
4. Collaborate with internal teams and strategic partners to craft compelling proposals that showcase technical expertise and business impact
5. Deliver engaging technical and commercial presentations, supporting key sales activities and enhancing customer understanding
6. Serve as a Solution Leader in qualified pursuits, driving portfolio expansion and providing industry expertise
What do we expect?
7. Extensive experience in the security industry, managing large-scale accounts and solution portfolios
8. Proven ability to develop customer-centric solutions and compelling proposals
9. Expertise in positioning and selling Project & Professional Services Solutions, as well as Managed Security Services
10. Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, engaging effectively with teams and senior stakeholders up to board level
11. Fluent in English and German
12. Strong understanding of cybersecurity architecture (e.g. Zero Trust, defense-in-depth)
13. Hands-on experience with Managed Security Services (SIEM, SOC, MDR/XDR)
14. Knowledge of cloud security across AWS, Azure, or GCP
15. Familiarity with leading security technologies (e.g. Palo Alto, Cisco, Microsoft Defender, Splunk)
