At Johnson Controls, our partner ecosystem a pivotal growth levers in our EMEA strategy. As we launch and scale our new Partner Program, we are hiring a Partner Marketing Manager EMEA to own and drive all marketing aspects that empower our partners to thrive, from recruitment and onboarding to activation, enablement, and acceleration.
This is a newly created role with high visibility and strategic relevance. Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing, EMEA, you will work across sales, channel management, field and product marketing to ensure our partners are equipped, enabled, and engaged to bring Johnson Controls’ solutions to market with success. You’ll be both strategic and operational, a horizontal collaborator who inspires action across teams, while also rolling up your sleeves to deliver programs that make a measurable impact on partner growth and pipeline.
What will you do
Partner Program Marketing Strategy
1. Take ownership of the EMEA marketing strategy for the Partner Program, aligned with global frameworks and adapted to regional market needs.
2. Develop and execute partner marketing plans to support partner recruitment, onboarding, engagement, and acceleration.
3. Build a consistent partner marketing narrative that positions Johnson Controls as the ecosystem of choice for growth-minded partners.
Partner Recruitment & Onboarding
4. Support the recruitment of new partners with targeted campaigns, digital outreach, events, and co-marketing initiatives.
5. Collaborate with channel management to build a frictionless, high-impact onboarding journey, ensuring partners are ready to sell and succeed.
6. Create or adapt welcome kits, value playbooks, and GTM enablement content tailored to partner segments.
Partner Activation & Demand Generation
7. Design and run partner-led demand generation programs, including MDF strategy, co-branded campaigns, lead nurture workflows, and event execution.
8. Equip partners with tools, content, and campaigns that align with our key solution priorities and market segments.
Enablement & Performance Management
9. Partner with sales and marketing teams to develop training content and sales enablement assets tailored for partners.
10. Measure, track, and report on partner marketing KPIs, including program adoption, partner-sourced pipeline, and ROI of marketing development funds (MDF).
11. Continuously improve based on feedback loops, field insights, and data analytics.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Informal Leadership
12. Work as a true horizontal collaborator; engaging product marketing, field marketing, channel sales, and global campaign teams to ensure alignment and execution.
13. Lead through influence, vision, and example, inspiring others to act while owning outcomes.
14. Represent EMEA, ensuring the regional voice is heard and best practices are shared.
What we look for
15. 7–10+ years in B2B marketing, with strong experience in channel, partner, or ecosystem marketing.
16. Proven ability to plan and execute marketing campaigns that support recruitment, onboarding, and partner-led demand generation.
17. Deep understanding of B2B sales cycles and the role of partners in value delivery.
18. Confident communicator and cross-functional collaborator, you lead through influence, not hierarchy.
19. Hands-on mindset; you’re as comfortable building a presentation as driving a strategic initiative.
20. Performance-driven and outcome-oriented; you’re guided by pipeline and partner success metrics.
21. Fluent in English; other European languages are a plus.
22. Willing to work on-site at least 3 days per week
