Location mobile working / nationwide career level with professional experience Scope of employment Full-time Your tasks You will be responsible for the operation, further development and maintenance of our Kubernetes platform, including cluster operation You build and operate an API platform - from API gateway and developer portal to API catalog and self-service processes. Contract-first API design with OpenAPI, consistent versioning and governance as well as comprehensive API security with OIDC / OAuth2, JWT rotation and OWASP API Top 10 are among your core tasks. You develop backend components in Go, Python and PHP, ensure clean architecture and ensure this with TDD and BDD. GitOps and CI/CD with GitHub Actions, Harbor and Argo CD are also part of your area of responsibility. Observability with Prometheus, Loki, Tempo and Grafana rounds off your job profile. Your talents You have several years of experience in the productive operation of Kubernetes including upgrades Infrastructure as Code as well as a confident handling of Helm and Kustomize are a matter of course for you. You have proven experience in building and operating an API platform: API gateway operation, contract-first with OpenAPI, versioning and lifecycle management. You have comprehensive knowledge of API security: OIDC / OAuth2, JWT / JWK rotation, OWASP API Top 10 as well as data protection with PII redaction and EU residency. You already have refactoring experience in PHP, Python, Bash and Go with tests. You are familiar with databases such as PostgreSQL, MariaDB, Redis, MongoDB and Vektor DB and you know your way around object storage (S3 etc.). You have practical experience with EU hosting / data residency and cost focus (FinOps basics) as well as AuthN/Z with Keycloak / Auth0. Knowledge in Event-System or ISO 27001 / SOC-2 experience is / is desirable. Business fluent German language skills round off your profile.
