We are searching for a motivated and curious mandatory intern (6 months) who is passionate about the intersection of AI, robotics, and functional safety. Have a background in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, AI, Mechatronics, or a related field
Are excited about topics like humanoids, AI Safety, functional safety, human detection, or embedded systems
Bring theoretical and practical experience with robotics simulators (Isaac Sim, Omniverse, MuJoCo, Gazebo, etc.)
Bring first experience with Python or C/C++ (ROS knowledge is a plus, not a requirement)
Think analytically, enjoy solving complex problems, and have a hands-on mindset
Communicate clearly, document your work well, and like collaborating in international technical teams
Support the development and validation of our Positron Safety AI System
Optional: Develop small tools (Python/C++/ROS) to support safety workflows
Studies in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, AI, Mechatronics, or a related field
Interest in Functional Safety, AI,, or Embedded Systems
Initial experience with Python or C/C++ is a plus
You are required to complete a mandatory internship (Pflichtpraktikum) as part of your studies
