We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Staff Captain to join our team onboard our cruise ship. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent navigation knowledge, and a commitment to passenger safety and satisfaction.
Key responsibilities:
• Assist the Master in all vessel operations
• Oversee daily activities of the deck crew
• Ensure compliance with maritime laws and regulations
• Manage safety drills, inspections, and emergency procedures
• Maintain accurate logs and records
• Enhance passenger safety and experience through proactive managementQualifications:
• Valid STCW certification
• Minimum 5 years of maritime experience, preferably on cruise ships
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Proven leadership abilities
• Ability to work under pressure and in a dynamic environmentRequired certification:
• National Certificate of Competency and Endorsement
• CoC Authenticity Verification Check
• GMDSS General Operator's Certificate (A-IV/2)
• Flag State Endorsement (COC, GMDSS - GOC)

• Advanced Firefighting (A-VI/3)
• Medical Care (A-VI/4-2)
