Senior Frontend Engineer (Web3/DeFi)
Location: Fully Remote - EU time zones Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $150K - $175K
We are seeking a high-caliber Senior Frontend Engineer to lead the development of a performant, responsive, and real-time application powering a next-generation decentralized exchange (DEX) and network. In this role, you will bridge the gap between complex blockchain infrastructure and a seamless user experience, meeting the demands of a fast-paced, data-intensive trading environment.

Key Responsibilities:
* Real-Time Interface Development: Design and implement dynamic UIs capable of handling live order books, price feeds, and trade executions with zero lag.
* Architecture & Scalability: Utilize modern frameworks (React) and advanced state management to architect a maintainable, scalable codebase.
* Performance Optimization: Use advanced rendering techniques and smart resource management to minimize load times under heavy data loads.
* Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with Product and UX/UI designers to translate complex trading requirements into intuitive, engaging interfaces.
* Responsive Design: Build accessible, high-quality frontends that perform consistently across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
Requirements
* 6+ years of professional frontend development experience, specifically with high-performance, real-time web applications.
* Expertise in TypeScript & React: Deep understanding of client-side React architecture, hooks, and performance patterns.
* Real-Time Data: Demonstrated experience working with WebSockets or similar real-time data protocols.
* Testing Rigor: Strong commitment to clean code and a mastery of testing methodologies (Unit, Integration, and E2E).
* Collaborative Spirit: Proven ability to work closely with backend teams and designers in a fully remote or distributed setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
* 8+ years of experience, particularly within Fintech, Trading, or Real-Time Data sectors.
* Web3 Native: Familiarity with the Web3 frontend stack (ethers.js, viem, wagmi) and client-side private key management.
* Modern Tooling: Knowledge of Server-Side Rendering (Next.js), PWA development, and CI/CD pipelines.
* Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
