You’ll make an impact by
* Financial Controlling and Profitability Management: You are responsible for the financial controlling of Service Corners and Power Electronics, analyzing cost/revenue, identifying optimization potential, and ensuring long-term profitability.
* Growth Initiatives and Business Development: You develop and implement initiatives to expand the global service business profitably, collaborating with Sales and Operations on pricing and shaping the service portfolio.
* Financial Planning and Strategic Business Planning: You own the full planning cycle (budget, forecasting, long-range planning), translate strategic objectives into quantifiable plans, and strategically steer future business opportunities.
* Business Case Development and Strategic Decision Support: You create end-to-end business cases for new offerings, evaluate commercial opportunities/risks, and provide financial insights for strategic priorities.
* Booking, Reporting and Data Structures: You ensure correct booking logic, transparent reporting, coordinate with IT and Accounting, and guarantee audit-proof financial reporting.
* KPI-Management and Performance Reporting: You develop and improve KPI dashboards, provide regular performance reporting with actionable recommendations, and monitor strategic and operational KPIs.
* Project and Process Optimization: You participate in digitalization and process improvement initiatives, evaluating financial impact and contributing to operational scalability and efficiency.
Your defining qualities
* Education: You have successfully completed a master´s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Controlling, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable field.
* Experience & Skills:
o You bring many years of experience in financial controlling or business planning, ideally in an industrial or service environment.
o You possess strong expertise in financial planning (including long-range and scenario modeling), business case development, strategic financial analysis, controlling methods, cost accounting, KPI and performance management, and pricing/margin management.
o You are proficient in SAP and data analytics tools like Power BI.
o You have a solid understanding of cross-functional processes, master data structures, and reporting logic.
* Ways of working:
o You possess strong analytical and strategic thinking, effectively translating data into clear narratives and recommendations.
o You demonstrate high ownership, reliability, attention to detail, and excellent cross-functional communication skills.
o You are proactive and solution-oriented, with a continuous improvement mindset.
* Languages: Because you will work in an international environment, you bring strong English communication skills (written and spoken). Additional language skills would be an advantage.
