Your mission

About Us

We’re building a new kind of mortgage experience: transparent, digital, and truly customer-centric. We are a Berlin-based B2C Fintech founded by two repeat founders (YC alum, exit) with prior 10+ year careers in investment banking and strategy consulting. We recently raised investment to assemble a 30-person, exceptionally strong core team. Our culture is built on ownership and clarity. We align with you on vision, set clear KPIs and resources together, and then trust your drive and expertise.

The Opportunity

As a part-time accounting manager, you will work directly with our Managing Director and take over all accounting-related tasks for a simple GmbH with about 200 transactions in the corporate bank account per month. We don’t use a tax advisor and run payroll, annual financial statements and tax filings in-house.


Your profile

What You’ll Do

What you will work on

* You will decide how we run accounting

* You pick an audit-proof (revisionssicher) accounting software and set us up

* You run payroll for currently 15 people (the Managing Director runs it on Sage but you are free to change that)

* You prepare our annual financial statements, adhere to publication obligations and prepare the tax filings through Elster

* You remind team members to submit their receipts twice and if they don’t you book it as non-deductable and publish a monthly report on it company-wide.

What You Bring

* You have run accounting for a German GmbH in the past but a full-time engagement doesn’t fit into your life at the moment.

* You are organised and work diligently with a high degree of attention to detail

* You bring order and structure based on your expertise

* You are confident you will figure out Publikations-Plattform and Elster

* You are conversational in English and German
