As a Senior Engineer for Microsoft Server (m/f/d), you will use your skills to support customers on their digital transformation journey. You will be part of one of our infrastructure teams and provide support in projects, IT operations and professional and technical advice on further development. Administration, monitoring and maintenance of Windows server environments Regular system updates, security patches and server hardening Management of user permissions, file shares and group policies (GPO) Monitoring system health and analyzing and fixing errors and performance problems Support with backup and recovery processes Collaboration with network, storage and application teams in the event of faults and projects Documentation of technical procedures, configurations and system changes Automation of recurring tasks using PowerShell Support for server provisioning (provisioning, imaging, domain join) Participation in maintenance windows and on-call duty Qualification: 3-5 years of professional experience in Windows system administration Very good knowledge of Active Directory, ADFS, DNS, DHCP, GPOs and domain architectures Experience with virtualization solutions (preferably Hyper-V) Basic knowledge of PowerShell for system administration Familiarity with patch management tools (WSUS, SCCM, Intune) Knowledge of IT security principles (least privilege, firewall rules, audits) Experience with incident, change and problem management processes What we offer: You usually work directly in your home town - because we take customer proximity literally and work-life balance is important to us.
