We’re looking for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our leadership team at a pivotal point in Yepoda’s growth journey. Reporting directly to our CEO & Co-Founder, you will shape and execute the company’s finance strategy, build scalable structures, and act as a key strategic partner in driving our international expansion and long-term success. Your Tasks Lead the full Finance function including accounts payable, FP&A, budgeting, reporting, accounting, tax, compliance, and risk management Serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and leadership team, professionalizing finance while supporting global growth ambitions Develop, implement, and steer operational and financial KPIs, ensuring alignment with company strategy and objectives Drive budgeting, working capital, and cash flow planning, identifying cost-saving opportunities while enabling growth Partner with the Executive team and Board on strategic initiatives, market expansion, and long-term goals Lead potential transactions including fundraising, investor relations, debt financing, M&A, or exit preparation Establish scalable financial systems, processes, and infrastructure to support multi-warehouse, multi-country operations Oversee tenders, supplier negotiations, and financial contracts to optimize cost structures Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence Provide data-driven financial insights and analysis to support decision-making and accelerate business performance Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure finance supports supply chain, operations, and international expansion Your Profile Experienced finance leader with proven success in scaling high-growth consumer or D2C businesses Previous experience as CFO or 2 finance leader, covering a broad range of disciplines (FP&A, accounting, tax, compliance, risk) Strong corporate finance expertise, ideally with exposure to fundraising, investor relations, private equity, or venture capital; prior M&A or exit experience is a plus Skilled in managing complex working capital and cash flow structures in fast-growth environments Hands-on, resourceful, and pragmatic with the ability to both strategize and roll up your sleeves Highly analytical and data-driven, able to connect operational and financial metrics to business impact Strong leadership skills with a servant-leadership style — able to inspire, mentor, and build high-performing teams Collaborative, non-political, and solutions-oriented; comfortable working cross-functionally and at board level Cultural fit with Yepoda: down to earth, entrepreneurial, open-minded, and fun to work with, with a genuine interest in sustainability and impact What We Offer Dynamic Environment: The opportunity to work in a start-up environment surrounded by a passionate and dedicated team Accelerate Your Career: Take on responsibility from day 1, with room for professional growth and advancement as the company continues to expand Inspiring Workspace: Located in the heart of Berlin's Prenzlauer Berg, a dog-friendly office, with free drinks and snacks Hybrid Working: We understand that sometimes you get more stuff done from home and need a change of scenery We Value Diversity: We seek to build an inclusive workplace that welcomes people from all different backgrounds.
