We are seeking experienced Quantitative Intraday Power Traders to join a leading energy trading organisation in Germany. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop and execute intraday trading strategies within the power markets. Role Overview Develop, implement, and manage algorithmic trading strategies specifically focused on power markets. Take responsibility for P&L performance, trading model optimisation, and market expansion efforts. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including quantitative analysts, software developers, and market specialists. Required Experience & Skills At least 2 years’ experience in quantitative trading with a proven track record of profitability. Strong understanding of European power markets, with particular emphasis on CWE and Nordic regions. Solid knowledge of fundamental market drivers and ability to model market dynamics to improve trading margins. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or equivalent, with experience in developing trading models. Commercial acumen to discuss margins, profitability, and risk in Euro terms.
