About the Role
The successful candidate will join a research group focused on critical information infrastructures and cyber-physical systems. The team aims to safeguard sensitive assets from unforeseen events and targeted cyber threats.
We are looking for candidates with expertise in cybersecurity and safety-critical systems to contribute to our research agenda and enhance the excellence of the group and the institution as a whole. Successful candidates will participate in conducting innovative research, publishing results, and contributing to project management reports.
Key responsibilities include:
* Conducting highly innovative research in cybersecurity and safety-critical systems
* Publishing research findings and presenting them at international conferences
* Contributing to reports and research activities in support of project management
* Mentoring PhD students
Requirements:
* PhD in Computer Science
* Experience in dependable systems, real-time, and embedded systems, and/or operating systems
* Strong programming skills
Desirable skills include a curious and enquiring mind, continuous learning, critical thinking, and collaboration. Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English are essential, with proficiency in French, German, or Luxembourgish being advantageous.
