At the intersection of advanced engineering and mission success, we are looking for a Product Assurance Manager ready to take ownership in a fast-paced space environment.
You will work alongside multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure the highest quality standards across complex space technology programs, from development through qualification and delivery. This role requires technical leadership, decisive problem-solving, and the ability to drive quality in demanding project environments.
Aufgaben
* Drive implementation and compliance of Product Assurance and quality requirements across space projects
* Lead all Product Assurance activities throughout the complete project lifecycle
* Act as the primary interface for quality-related topics with customers and suppliers
* Drive implementation and compliance of quality requirements across space projects
* Coordinate cross-functional experts across all quality domains
* Provide clear reporting and risk visibility to project and department leadership
* Chair quality reviews, milestone reviews, and non-conformance review boards
* Own non-conformance management and ensure timely root cause analysis and corrective actions
* Coordinate closely with engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, customers, and project management teams
* Plan and manage Product Assurance milestones including EQSRs, MRRs, TRRs, and QRs
* Support major program reviews including SRRs, PDRs, CDRs, MPCBs, PCBs, IRRs, TRBs, ARs, and DRBs
* Develop audit strategies and support internal and external audits
Profil
* Degree in Engineering, Physics, Science, or a comparable technical discipline
* Experience in Product Assurance, Quality Engineering, Supplier Quality, or Mission Assurance within the space or aerospace sector
* Strong understanding of complex engineering systems and development processes
* Ability to manage multiple high-priority topics simultaneously in a dynamic environment
* Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to drive technical decisions across stakeholders
* Confident leading technical discussions, reviews, and escalation meetings
* Structured, analytical, and detail-driven mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities
* Comfortable making decisions and taking ownership in high-responsibility environments
* Business fluent in English; German is a plus
* Willingness to travel internationally when required
